Software engineer and HCI researcher
My interests lie in the application of technology in educational settings, both formal (e.g., higher education, workplace) and informal. Being a software engineer by trade, I am working both as a frontend engineer at the EdTech company Drillster, and as a researcher at the Human Experience and Media Design research group at the HU University of Applied Sciences, Utrecht. For the latter, I am planning to do a PhD on how educational information systems can acknowledge and leverage the value of informal learning activities in modeling student knowledge.
