Software engineer. Aspiring scientist.
My interests lie in the application of technology in educational settings, both formal (e.g., higher education, workplace) and informal. Being a software engineer by trade, I hold a master's degree in human computer interaction, of which the thesis was about supporting goal setting in a learning analytics dashboard used in a formal learning setting (i.e., university), via individualised progress indicators based on students' achievement goal orientations. I successfully defended the thesis on October 25th, 2023. I'm currently looking for opportunities to continue my career in research, possibly with a PhD or some other research position.
